Morgan Freeman has revealed that he tries to emulate Humphrey Bogart, who believed that giving autographs is a waste of time. The legendary actor explained that Humphrey was once asked about autographs, pictures and public, to which the ‘Casablanca’ star responded that he doesn’t owe the audiences anything but a good performance, the Daily Express reported. “I tried to take that to heart but then somebody once told me, ‘No, no. You belong to us. You’re in the public.’ So, you can’t quite get away from it,” Freeman said. Morgan told the publication that he rather enjoys having his picture taken with fans, particularly those of the fairer sex. Freeman further added that touching someone’s hand or hugging a beautiful lady, works out very well and he owes the public a little bit more than just a good performance.
