The Supreme Court (SC) constituted a three-member bench to hear petitions seeking prosecution of former president General (r) Pervez Musharraf under the high treason act.
The bench will be headed by Justice Jawwad S Khawaja while the remainig two members are Justice Khilji Arif Hussain and Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan.
Musharraf’s counsel Sardar Muhammad Siddique Khan had filed an application for constitution of a larger bench by the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry to consider important aspects of the matter.
