On orders of caretaker Prime Minister (PM) Mir Hazar Khan Khoso, the principal secretary to the PM, interior secretary and Narcotics Control Division secretary were transferred on Saturday.
The Establishment Division notified these transfer orders. Police Group’s Grade-22 officer Javed Iqbal has been made the interior secretary while the outgoing interior secretary Siddiq Akbar has been posted as principal secretary to the PM.
The outgoing principal secretary Seerat Asghar has been posted as Narcotics Control Division secretary.
In addition, Information Technology Secretary Shahid Rashid has been given additional charge of Cabinet Division. Cabinet Secretary Nargis Sethi has proceeded on a month’s leave.
