Domestic and commercial consumers of natural gas in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) continued to suffer on Saturday as authorities at Sui failed to repair the damaged gas pipeline.
Unknown miscreants had blown up the main pipeline supplying gas to Punjab and KP.
Several areas in both provinces remained deprived of gas, adding to the miseries of domestic consumers besides hurting commercial activities.
Hundreds of CNG stations also remained closed due to disruption in gas supply, while supply to Guddu Thermal Power Station could also not be restored.
Authorities said repair work on the damaged pipeline was in progress and it was hoped that supply would be restored shortly.
