The Rent Control Act must be immediately promulgated in Islamabad to check increasing disputes related to rent disputed, said Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) President Zafar Bakhtawari on Saturday.
Bakhtawari said this while visiting Tahir Abbasi in Section F-10 Markaz. He congratulated Abbasi on his election as the president and Ahmed Khan as the general secretary of Traders Welfare Association F-10 Markaz.
Speaking on the occasion, Bakhtawari said the business community was playing a pivotal role in the development of the national economy and that the government should pay attention to their problems.
The ICCI president said promulgation of the Rent Control Act in Islamabad was long due so the local and the federal governments should immediately promulgate the bill. He said a campaign would be launched to resolve residential problems of businessmen in Islamabad.
