Former president Pervez Musharraf has submitted a plea in the Supreme Court requesting the formation of a full bench to hear the treason case against him.
The petition, submitted on Friday, said the case involved a number of constitutional and legal complications for which a full bench of the SC was significant.
It also requested the court to review the verdict of July 31, 2009, adding that only a bench of 14 judges found Musharraf guilty of treason in the judgement.
