An airplane carrying Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif made an emergency landing on Friday when the aircraft’s windscreen cracked midair.

According to aviation officials, the pilot told air traffic control that the aircraft’s windscreen had cracked mid-flight at a height of 9,000 kms.
The plane eventually made an emergency landing at Allama Iqbal International Airport.
At least 12 other people were reported to be onboard along with the PML-N chief.
