A man named Idrees bursted in agony at Bajwah Hospital, Shahdara when the hospital management told him that his wife has given birth to a baby girl.
Idress said that a few days ago he got his wife’s ultrasound in which doctors had reported a baby boy, but the management of Bajwah Hospital exchanged his child with a nurse’s sister’s baby girl who was also born a few minutes prior to his child.
The hospital will be responsible if Idrees’s wife and his child DNA did not match, the hospital’s spokesperson said.
