An earthquake of magnitude 3.8 on the Richter scale was felt in upper parts of the country on Friday evening. However, no report of damage or loss of life was immediately received.
Reports said the tremor was felt in several areas of Mansehra district in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
The Pakistan Metrological Department (PMD) said the quake measured magnitude 3.8 on the Richter scale, causing no damage or causality.
On Tuesday, at least 13 people were killed and hundreds of houses destroyed in Balochistan when the region was struck by a powerful tremor that centred in neighbouring Iran.
