The Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Thursday canceled allotment of 10 agricultural farmhouses after the owners of these farmhouses failed to develop them as per the agreed terms and conditions. These allotments were made under the CDA’s Poultry and Vegetable Schemes.
The authority had first issued a final show cause notice to all these owners seven days ago before the cancellation of allotment. According to a press release, CDA Chairman Syed Tahir Shahbaz had directed CDA Member Planning and Design Syed Mustafain Kazmi and CDA Member Estate Ms Shaista Sohail to take indiscriminate action against the agricultural farmhouse owners who had violated the CDA’s by-laws. Shahbaz issued these directives in the light of Supreme Court’s order. The CDA chairman also ordered the CDA Magistrate to expedite recovery of fines from the violators.
