Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif has said all political parties should be provided with a level playing field in the upcoming general elections.

In an interview with a private TV channel, the former prime minister also called for change in bureaucracy in the Centre and other provinces like Punjab.

He said he had no personal enmity with Gen (r) Pervez Musharraf and law would decide how to deal with the enemies of Pakistan.

Nawaz said there was no option for delay in the elections and urged the people to cast as much votes in favour of any party for it to be able to form a strong government.

Commenting on Imran Khan’s statement that he would not take oath from President Asif Ali Zardari after being elected as the prime minister, Nawaz said the PTI chief was unlikely to take oath from Zardari.
