Prime Minister Justice (R) Mir Hazar Khan Khoso has stressed that the Ministry of Railways must run efficiently so that the general public benefit from it.
Khoso said this while talking to Federal Minister for Railways Abdul Malik Kasi who called on him at the Prime Minister’s House.
Khoso said the Pakistan Railways was popular and cheap means of transportation so improving its efficiency was imperative. The prime minister directed Kasi to look into the matters that hindered efficient operation of the Pakistan Railways and told him to rectify administrative and financial hiccups.
Earlier, Kasi briefed the prime minister on the working of the Pakistan Railways. He assured the prime minister that he would follow the guidelines given by him and would make a positive difference in the performance of the Pakistan Railways.
