People will vote PML-N, says Shahbaz

Former Punjab Chief Minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Mian Shahbaz Sharif claimed that people would elect his party due to its past performance.

Talking to a private TV channel, Shahbaz said his party would end the power crisis within two years after coming in power. He said all the candidates must be provided security against terror threat. He urged the people to support his party dealing with the challenges the country was facing.

Answering a question, Shahbaz said his government had allocated billions of rupees for education and health sectors in the Punjab. He said laptops were distributed among deserving students, adding that Danish School System was a landmark achievement of his government. He also said that if the PML-N came in power then it would continue the Pak-Iran gas pipeline project. He also said that delaying in polls would be disastrous for the country.

Urging the people to join the polling process, he said democracy was flourishing in Pakistan as the first democratic transition of power was being carried out in the country. He said empowering the youths was important for the development of the country.
