Gujranwala police claimed to have thwarted a plan to sabotage election campaign on Wednesday.
Acting on a tip-off, the police raided a house in Gujranwala city and seized 150,000 bullets and 1,540 rifles.
The police also arrested four suspects from the house.
On the other hand, the Kohat-based accused said they had a legal permit to sell weapons. However, the police said the accused were planning to smuggle arms.
