Eight militants were killed and one soldier was injured on Wednesday after an exchange of fire in Orakzai Agency.
According to sources, Taliban militants ambushed a security check-post in Dabori area of Orakzai Agency early Wednesday morning.
Security forces retaliated strongly, thwarting the attack, killing eight militants.
Source said that one soldier was also injured in the attack. Later, forces launched a search operation in the area.
