The Balochistan High Court (BHC) on Tuesday annulled the prison term of former Balochistan minister Mir Ali Madad Jatak, earlier awarded by the Additional Sessions Court, in a fake degree case.
PPP leader Jattak had filed a petition in the BHC against the trial court verdict.
During the proceedings, the court overruled the earlier verdict, declaring the two years prison term and Rs 10,000 fine null and void allowing the former minister to contest the general elections.
