Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Qamar Zaman Kaira has said that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was taking part in the election campaign.
Talking to the local media, Kaira said the PPP leadership had stood against the challenge of terrorism. He said Articles 62 and 63 of the Constitution of Pakistan should be implemented in their true spirit however the returning officers should not put the candidates to the test when they had already submitted in writing their faith in nomination papers. He also said that those with criminal history should pass through the process of accountability and should be brought to justice.
Answering a question, Kaira said the largest gatherings were organised by Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto in the past but the time had changed now so the party was benefiting from electronic means of communication which were more time efficient and easier to reach people.
