After a gap of just a few months, one more person died of consuming faulty cough syrup Tyno in Mayo Hospital of Lahore.
According to details, 32-year-old Zohaib, hailing from Shahdara Town, fell conscious after he consumed Tyno syrup to treat his cough.
He was rushed to emergency ward of Mayo Hospital for treatment. However, he did not respond to the treatment and died.
The heirs of the deceased refused to conduct post-mortem analysis and took away the body.
During recent months, at least 22 people died of consuming the toxic Tyno Syrup across Punjab after which it was banned but still was available in the market.
