Chairman of the Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) Sahibzada Fazal Karim passed away on Monday.
He was undergoing treatment of his liver at a hospital in Faisalabad.
Sahibzada Haji Muhammad Fazal Karim, born on October 24, 1954, was elected MNA for his first term as a PML-N candidate and was previously politically affiliated with JUP.
A businessman by profession, he completed an MA degree in Islamic Studies from Jamia Rizvia, Faisalabad, in 1987 and served as member of Punjab assembly from 1993-1997 and Minister of Punjab Province from 1997-1999.
He is survived by 4 sons and a daughter.
