Illegal police occupants of Abpara flats decry expulsion

The police personnel who had illegally occupied government flats in Abpara have protested their expulsion from the quarters and appealed to the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) to take notice and allot govt residence to them.

Scores of police personnel along with their families protested in front of the National Press Club over their expulsion from government flats the other day. “We are government employees but have no facility of government residence like other government employees”, they lamented their expulsion. They appealed to the CJP to order the Estate Office of Pakistan and the Ministry of Housing and Works to allocate a quota in government flats to the police personnel.
