Haroonur Rasheed and Chaudhry Haseeb have been elected the president and general secretary of the Islamabad High Court Bar Association by obtaining 707 and 461 votes respectively. The total votes cast were 1096.
Haroonur Rasheed’s opponent Gulam Mahboob Khokhar secured 319 votes, while Chaudhry Haseeb’s opponent Chaudhry Ehtisham got 421 votes.
The newly elected vice president, Chaudhry Riasat Gondal secured 558 votes, while Joint Secretary Chaudhry Tanvir got 551 votes.
