Punjab Inspector General of Police (IGP) Aftab Sultan has issued directions to all district police officers (DPO) to complete the process of availing services of retired army and police employees until April 23 for the upcoming elections.
According to the directions, all retired police and army officers who are mentally and physically healthy would inform the concerned officers of their districts regarding the election duty.
Pension papers, discharge certificate and ID card are compulsory for the applicants.
The retired employees would be paid for election duty.
