Sir Paul McCartney is certainly an unstoppable force after managing to top the Sunday Times Rich List for the 23rd year in a row with an estimated £680 million fortune. The Beatles legend has been named the richest musician in the UK and Ireland in this year’s rich list compilation, which he has dominated since 1989 when he was said to be a reported £80 million. Following closely behind Sir Paul is West End veteran Andrew Lloyd Webber who has acquired a £620 million empire. In third place is Irish band U2 who have a reported combined wealth of £520 million, while Victoria Beckham’s brand with hubby David is said to be worth £200 million, the same amount Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger is believed to have earned. Meanwhile, Adele has topped the young musicians rich list with an estimated wealth of £30 million, a 10% jump on last year. Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole comes in second after enjoying an increase to £14 million while each One Direction member is estimated to be worth £5 million. The full list will be released on Sunday.
