The Sindh government, on orders of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has overhauled the bureaucracy in the province.
The provincial government has changed deputy commissioners, assistant commissioners, secretaries and director generals in Karachi, Hyderabad, Mirpur Khas, Sukkur and Larkana.
On Thursday, the ECP had given the caretaker government seven days to appoint competent officials on posts of chief secretary, secretaries of education, local government, home department, deputy commissioners, mukhtiarkars, and education and police officers in the province.
An official said the commission had received complaints against nearly 15 SSPs, eight district education officers and 20 deputy commissioners and assistant commissioners.
