Former Punjab chief minister Shahbaz Sharif on Friday said the PML-N would bring about a radical change in the lifestyle of the common man if voted to power.
Talking to party workers, he said the Nawaz Sharif-led PML-N was expected to form government not only at the Centre but also in the province, as the party had emerged the sole popular political force during the last five years.
He pointed out that conspiracies were being hatched against the party leadership and vowed to foil them with the support of the people.
Shahbaz said under the circumstances, the country needed a pious and committed leadership and claimed Nawaz was the only person who had the capability to lead it to prosperity.
He criticised opponents of the metro bus service, laptop scheme and Danish schools and said the previous Punjab government had spent huge amount on development schemes with complete transparency.
Shahbaz said national economy was not in a good shape and if voted to power again, the PML-N would put the economy back on track, even though it would be an extremely tough challenge in the present situation.
He directed party workers to expedite their election campaign and contact voters to muster their support for the party.
