PPP Balochistan announces candidates for elections

The Pakistan People’s Party Balochistan chapter on Friday announced awarding party tickets to its candidates on 11 national and 50 provincial seats for the upcoming general elections.

Addressing a press conference at his residence, PPP Balochistan President Mir Sadiq Umrani said the PPP was a party of jiyalas who had always rendered scarifies for the supremacy of democracy and democratic values.

He said the PPP were contesting the upcoming election on the ground of their performance and hoped the people would not disappoint them.

Those awarded party ticket include former city nazim Maqbool Lehri for NA-259 Quetta city, former federal minister Sardar Umer Gorgaij for NA-260 Quetta Chagai, Abdul Wahab Barakzai for NA-261 Pishin Ziarat, Nazar Muhammad Kakar for NA-262 Qila Abdullah, Mir Changaiz Khan Jamali for NA-266 Naseerabad and former federal minister Ayatullah Durrani for NA-268 Kalat-Mastung.

The nominees for the provincial assembly seats were Mohammad Hashim on PB-1 Quetta, Jan Ali Changaizai PB-2 Quetta, former provincial minister Younus Mullazai PB-4 Quetta, Arif Jan Muhammad Hassani PB 39-Chagai, Junaid Badini PB-40, Mir Muhammad Sadiq Umrani PB-Naseerabad, Raza Muhammad Mengal PB-35 Khuzdar, Awaran Attaullah Baloch PB-41 and Lasbela Sharif Plari PB-45.
