Karachi police on Friday claimed to have arrested main accused of Abbas Town blast along with his three accomplices.
According to details, SSP CID Chaudhry Aslam said that Gul Aslam alias Aslam Ustad fled to Waziristan and was arrested upon his arrival in Karachi.
He said that 125 Kg explosives, eight hand grenades were also recovered from his possession.
The officer said that the terrorists were accused of making explosive-laden vehicles in Pakhtunabad and Manghopir areas of the city, adding that raids were being conducted to arrest other associates of the accused.
Chaudhry Aslam claimed that the accused were planning attacks on Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and embassies of foreign countries.
