The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Friday accepted the bail petition of 13 suspects involved in the Badami Bagh tragedy whereas it dismissed the bail application of four others, local media reported.
The accused were presented before an anti-terrorism court in Lahore amidst high security. After hearing the arguments by both the counsels, the court granted bail to 13 suspects and refused four others.
The Badami Bagh tragedy occurred on March 9 when an enraged mob torched over a hundred houses located in a Christian-dominated neighbourhood of Lahore following allegations of blasphemy against a Christian man.
