The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Friday ordered the provincial government to replace Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Inspector General (IG) Akbar Hoti.
The ECP had received complaints regarding Hoti that several of his close associates were candidates in the upcoming elections.
Taking notice of these complaints, the ECP ordered the provincial government to replace the IG on an immediate basis.
