A team from the Agricultural Department of Punjab has found dengue larvae in Railway Carriages Workshop during a survey of the area, a spokesperson of the department announced.
He explained that entomologists conducted a survey of the carriages’ workshop and found presence of a large number of dengue mosquitoes at various places. He said the department had already killed the mosquito larvae, while the Dengue Brigade of the department has been asked to arrange for mosquito spray.
He said the Railways administration has also instructed to keep all areas mosquito free and take all precautionary measures against the spread of dengue.
