New CPO takes charge

Newly-appointed Rawalpindi City Police Officer (CPO) Abdur Razzaq Cheema took charge of his office on Tuesday.

Cheema had earlier served as deputy inspector general of police (DIGP), a grade-20 PSP officer.

Cheema has served on various posts including Lahore SSP (Investigation) and Gujranwala CPO and has earned good reputation during his service.

The reshuffling of police officers from SHOs, SDPOs to zonal chiefs is also expected soon.
