Faryad Hussain won the Lahore to kasur Road Cycle Race held on Sunday morning and was organised by the Punjab Cycling Association.
According to the Organizing secretary Qasir Siddique Bhatti, PCA organized a cycle race for the promotion of cycling in Punjab by grass route level with collaboration with District sports committee Kasur.
A recorded 62 cyclists all over the Punjab took part in this race. The race was started from Punjab Stadium towards Ferozepur road and Terminated at Bus Terminal Kasur. The Start of the race given by Ch. Kamran Amin President Punjab Cycling Association. Faryad Hussain got First Position, 45Km distance was covered in 1 Hour 18 Mints and 44Sec 89Points. 2nd Position Azeem Nobal 3rd Position Shamoon Mashi 4th Sunny Anwar and Nasir Khan 5th Muhammad Imran 6th Abdul Rehman.
The Chief Guest for closing Ceremony was Mr. Akbar Murad District Sports Officer (DSO) who gave away Trophies and Cash Awards to the Winners. The Chief Judge of the Race Syed Nazakat Ali Former International Cyclist with Muhammad Jamil , Qasir Siddique Bhatti, Muhammad Ashraf, , Malik Muhammad Bashir, Moras Raza, Sajid Nazar performed the best duties in the Race.
The traffic Police and Rescue 1122 performed their duty excellently.
