Former prime minister and Pakistan People’s Party leader Raja Pervez Ashraf’s nomination papers have been rejected for NA-51 Rawalpindi , local media reported on Sunday.
He was accused of misappropriating funds and indulging in nepotism.The former premier had submitted his nomination papers from his home town, Gojar Khan, which comes under the constituency NA-51.
ECP, your making a mockery of yourselves and every pakistani, show some courage and stand your ground and disqualify all accused of corruption.

You know that Raja the crook will find some way of finding his way back in.
Please give some respect to Raja sahib. After all he was the Prime Minister of Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
Respect does not come automatically; it has to be earned. He himself chose money over respect. The money he looted was not coming from his father, it was tax payers money. I would rather wish ECP get every penny back from him by whatever means it may be possible, only dis-qualification is not enough. And last but not the least – let me honestly – is he PM stuff??

desi you have the right idea but your facts are wrong almost out of 180 million all of us pay indirect taxes…when you load your mobile there is tax (where do you think the 19 rupees goes when you load 100 rupee card), when buy petrol/CNG, and countless many other items there is already tax included in this.
But personal income taxes are different, that very small amount of people pay. do you know why, because politicians dont pay thmselfves.
Zardari, Gilani, Rehman Malik & Raja Rental all will be tried for treason & massive corruption against the state. InshaAllah justice will be ours.

What about character of ImranKhan who had an illegitimate daughter out of illicit affair with a US woman and then he left his daughter. He shud be disqualified for life on moral grounds
If Imran Khan did anything in his PERSONAL and PRIVATE life long time ago and he has repented, we pakistanis forgive him, even Allah forgives.
But if Sharif's family have built business empire by staying in politics, looted the country, and governing in punjab after 20 years has given absolutely nothing more than a motor way and metro bus, that is all in 20 years, I also wonder where all the steel and other material and contracts went to, Sharifs family have lots of construction business. China and India are on their way of becoming super powers and we are stuck in stone age mentality with Sharifs and Zardari. Why was Sharif in coalition with Zardari for so long, to hide each others corruption.

O man Does the gravity of Imran's immoral acts of having illicit relations resulting in illegitimate birth reduce after a long time. In a Western country he wud hv been disqualified from politics for life, and in a truely Islamic tradition he wud hv been lashed for hundred times. He had no way to spare himself. Nawaz Sharif is the most corrupt politician. PPP is better than all other parties. Though I m not their supporter, too.
And what about treason by Nawaz Sharif who conspired to force aeroplane of his commander in chief to land in India and tried to put security of Pakistan at risk.

Mr Imran Khan , whatever he did in USA, does come under moral offence but not paying taxes or defaulting on loans is bigger offence than the moral offence.
Since I live in USA, I have seen lot of examples of people leaving their girl friends pregnant and leaving the town. On the other hand if you do not pay taxes, you will be prosecuted and put in jail in addition to confiscation of your property and freezing of your account. On the other hand , in Pakistan it is opposite. It means you are a bad boy if you got some body pregnant but it is ok not to pay taxes and you can have a lavish life style.

Those who think Shareef brothers have only given Pakistan Motorway and Metro bus please look carefully at what others have just given Pakistan. PPP , Q league and mqm made Pakistan the only country in the World where the Government spent most of its time in office fighting fraud cases in courts- some achievement! They gave up even the will to govern in Karachi and Bolochistan. Pakistan has been brought to its knees. In contrast there has been a lot of progress in Punjab. God help Punjab if PPP and Q league are elected there.
Refresh ur memory. Sharif built their political empire on a sea of corruption starting from Zia era and continuing into Sasti Roti and Laptop scheme to gobble millions and billions. PPP took back from India 14000 SqKM of lost territory in 1971, and brought back 90000 prisoners of war from India. PPP founded nuclear program which NajaTind wudn hv dreamed in dream of his dreams. PPP united Muslim countries in 1974 and BBB started missile program. NajaTind did nothing except corruption ridden project
