Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Mian Nawaz Sharif’s nomination papers were accepted for a national assembly constituency on Saturday, local media reported.
Sharif was given the green signal by the returning officer from Sargodha’s constituency NA-68.
The development comes only a day after the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) alleged that Nawaz Sharif and his brother, former chief minister Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif defaulted around Rs 3,500 million.
