The Election Commission of Pakistan on Friday decided against the “none of the above” option in ballot papers for the upcoming elections.
The ECP announced on Aril 3 that it would include the option for the upcoming elections and was met with severe criticism.
The option would have given voters the chance to reject all candidates for the first time.
ECP stated that such a decision would be inappropriate with the elections being just around the corner.
