Former Punjab Governor Latif Khosa has urged the Punjab Caretaker Chief Minister Najm Sethi to reshuffle the bureaucracy of the Punjab as an imperative for holding fair, free and impartial elections in the province. Delay in this regard will be grossly detrimental to the mandate of the caretakers, he cautioned.
Khosa alleged that during the last five years, Shahbaz Sharif had appointed junior officers, ready to overlook prescribed rules and regulations, on senior posts at the expense of older and more experienced officers. He emphasized that postings and transfers should take place at the district and sub-division levels. Khosa accused the former chief minister of holding a meeting of top bureaucrats on his last day in office and warning them of his re-election. He asked the caretaker chief minister to check the veracity of this accusation and to initiate reshuffling without delay if found correct. Khosa also stressed the need to act with haste in order to allow the caretaker government to hold fair, free and transparent elections.
Now suddenly Former Punjab Governor Latif Khosa woke up from a deep sleep and thought of reshufling of beaurocracy officials in the province.the question is that when he was in power ,why he did not take firm actions agaisnt this particular case.At his time,he had only job to praise in favor of his high command only and nothing.IT IS USELESS TO CRY OVER SPILT MILK.
