The Lal Masjid Commission on Monday presented its report to the Supreme Court (SC).
According to details, the commission assigned to probe the Lal Masjid operation conducted during former president Musharraf’s tenure presented its findings to the SC.
The SC adjourned the case for another two weeks, saying that jurists needed time to review the report.
It is pertinent to mention that a petitioner had filed a petition in the SC, saying that Musharraf had committed treason and must be put on the Exit Control List (ECL). The SC informed the petitioner that the decision had already been taken by Islamabad High Court.
So far, former president Pervez Musharraf has not yet recorded his statements for the Lal Masjid Case.
We wish and pray that justice be prevailed in case of Lal Masjid Case or many other such tragedies that happen in this country time and again.
