Sindh Inspector General of Police (IGP) Shahid Nadeem Baloch has constituted a committee to inquire into the incident in which a teenage boy was allegedly burnt to death after being tortured.
The incident that had taken place in Ghotki district on Saturday caught the attention of police high-ups, after which they decided to constitute a commission. A police spokesman said here late Sunday that the committee would be headed by Sukkur SSP.
He had been asked by the committee to submit his report regarding the incident within 48 hours, the spokesman said.
