Following the differences over seat adjustment in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with PTI, Jamaat e Islami (JI) has turned towards Pakistan Muslim League -Nawaz (PML-N) for electoral alliance prior to the general elections 2013.
Sources stated that PML-N was seeking a guarantee from JI leadership that they would not part ways from the alliance after the elections and only after this assurance, PML-N would allot fifteen seats to JI in Punjab.
