Former minister for information and broadcasting Qamar Zaman Kaira on Sunday said that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) believed in the power of the masses and its leadership promoted politics of reconciliation in the country.
Talking to APP, he said PPP always came to power through the votes of the people, who had the real power to bring a change in the country.
Replying to a question, Kaira said people would elect honest, trustworthy and committed representatives in the upcoming general elections who would take forward the country on the road of progress and prosperity.
To another question, he said PPP had never made any false promises with the masses, adding that all the pledges made in its manifesto had been fulfilled.
