Police arrests 26 outlaws in twin cities

Islamabad and Rawalpindi Police arrested on Sunday 26 outlaws, including six proclaimed offenders from various areas of the twin cities, who were wanted by the police for various crimes, a police spokesman said on Sunday.
According to details, Sub-Inspector Shoukat Mehmood from Bhara Kahu Police Station arrested Karam Hussain and recovered 20 bottles of liquor from him. Meanwhile ASI Muhammad Nawaz arrested an allege robber Shaujaat Ali and Golra police arrested Baktawar Shah and recovered a 30-bore pistol along with 10 round of ammunition from him.
ASI Nawazish Ali from Industrial Area Police Station arrested Nasir and recovered four bottles of wine from him. ASI Nasir from Ramna police station arrested Abid Raza and Farooq Ahmad who were involved in a robbery.
ASI Aurangziab from Sihala Police Station arrested Azahir Javid and recovered a 30-bore pistol, along with three cartridges from him. Cases have been registered against all those who were arrested and further investigation is underway.
Meanwhile, Aabpara and CIA and Golra police stations also arrested six Proclaimed offenders.
Inspector General of Police Bani Amin Khan and Islamabad SSP Yaseen Farooq appreciated the overall performance and directed all heads of police stations to ensure the arrest of anti-social elements and report to them on a daily basis in this regard.

Rawalpindi Police on the other hand arrested 14 outlaws from different localities of the district.

According to a police spokesman, the district police recovered 365 grams of hashish, 9 bottles of liquor, five 30-bore pistols with 97 rounds of ammunition, one 9mm pistol with 13 rounds of ammunition and a stolen motorcycle from the possession of the accused.

Pirwadhai police arrested Qayyum and recovered 155 grams of hashish from his possession, while Jahanzaib was arrested for possessing 210 grams of hashish.

Rattaamral Police arrested Afzal with five bottles of liquor and Gujar Khan Police arrested Zulfiqar with three bottles of liquor.

Civil Line Police arrested Ali and Shehzad and recovered a stolen motorcycle from their custody.
