As political parties accelerate the process of doling out party tickets to their candidates ahead of May polls, an interesting situation developed when two PML (N) workers climbed an electric pole in protest when party ticket was not awarded to a local political leader.
At PML (N) party secretariat in Lahore, several party workers protested against PML (N) leadership decision not to award party ticket to a local leader, Javed Watto.
TV channels footage showed that two protesting workers climbed the pole and he threatened to touch high tension power lines if his demand was not fulfilled.
Efforts were made to persuade him to end his protest. After up to 15 minutes, they stepped down. NNI

  1. Now that’s not the fault of PML(N) leaders…..People are denied ticket if they are found incapable and incompetent….what’s the point of committing suicide ?
