As many as three people died, including two children and another 16 were injured in a gas cylinder explosion on Saturday.
According to reports, a Hafizabad-bound wagon when reached near Mandi Jahbrah its CNG cylinder exploded killing one woman and a minor on the spot and injuring another 16 passengers.
After receiving information, rescue teams reached the scene and rushed the injured to the District Headquarter Hospital.
Witnesses claimed that the driver of wagon had placed a patrol can with the cylinder due to which a fire erupted and explosion occurred.
Police registered a case and started investigation.
