The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has decided not to welcome Leghari brothers into the party, news reports said on Saturday.
The reports quoting party sources said senior PML-N leader Zulfiqar Khosa called on PML-N President Nawaz Sharif on Saturday to express his concerns over the joining of former president Farooq Leghari’s sons, Awais Leghari and Jamal Leghari.
Khosa told Nawaz that if the Leghari bothers joined the PML-N, it would disturb the political balance in the region.
The source said Nawaz agreed with Khosa and decided not to take Legharis into the party.
Earlier, the media reported that the Leghari brothers, who had not been given tickets by the PTI, had decided to join the PML-N.

The party should consider carefully the worth of candidates. In Rahimyar Khan the strongest candidates joined PML-N including Mian Imtiaz, Makhdoom Ahmed Alam Anwar and Rais Munir Ahmed. If all these three candidates get the MNA tickets, PML-N will sweep the district. But only if all three are on the national assembly seats, as the leghari brothers do not posses enough power to defeat the governor's son, and one of them even submitted a fake degree therefore he cannot contest. Moreover, Mahboob Ahmed who recently joined has also been disqualified twice, thus rendering him loss of support in the area.
