A police official and his guard were killed on Friday in a drive-by shooting by unidentified men in Chilas.
According to official sources, the sub-inspector was on his way from Tangir to Chilas in a police van when some unknown persons opened fire, killing the police official and his guard and injuring five others.
The injured police personnel were shifted to a local hospital in Chilas.
