The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has sent the summary seeking a cut in the price of petroleum products to the Petroleum Ministry.
According to media reports, if the summary is approved, the price of petroleum products would be decreased on April 1.
The price of petrol will decrease by Rs 1.80, diesel by Rs 1.45, Kerosene oil by Rs 4.69 and light diesel by Rs 4.93 per litre.
The summary will be forwarded by the Petroleum Ministry to the Finance Ministry once approved.
