The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Punjab issued on Friday final notices to defaulters of electricity bills of billions of rupees.
According to reports, NAB set April 4 as a deadline for payment of the bill after which the anti-corruption body would start arresting the defaulters.
NAB started taking action against defaulters after receiving a list of names from the Ministry of Water and Power.
It has also published advertisements in national newspapers, warning defaulters to pay their dues by April 4. The body has made it clear that it would be the final notice, after the expiry of which it would either start confiscating property of the defaulters or arrest them.
