The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) on Friday arrested another accused in ephedrine quota case and obtained a two-day physical remand from a court in Lahore.
Zubair Ahmad, a moneychanger by profession, has been taken into custody by the ANF. He was presented before an area magistrate and a request for his physical remand was obtained.
The prosecutor informed the magistrate that accused Zubair Ahmad had been shifting Ali Musa Gilani’s money abroad and a recovered of his illicit transactions had been found from his laptop. They said that ANF needed to interrogate him further.
The court approved the two-day physical remand of the accused after hearing arguments from both sides and handed him over to the ANF.
