After the announcement by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to hold general elections on May 11, Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) exams under all boards of the province including Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (RBISE) are expected to be postponed from May 4 to May 18.
According to sources, a meeting of chairmen of all education boards is expected to be held in near future. The exams have already been postponed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The sources said that the caretaker government is authorized to postpone the exam therefore the committee of the chairman will send a summary to government in this regard.
