Balochistan caretaker Chief Minister Ghaus Bakhsh Barozai met Balochistan National Party (Awami) chief Akhtar Mengal here on Thursday and assured him free and fair elections and complete security in the province.
During the meeting, Mengal made it clear that the concerns of the people of Balochistan over transparent elections would have to be addressed, adding that different types of people were living in the province and therefore their doubts over fair polls were genuine.
Mengal made it clear that if political workers were harmed during the elections, they would hold the establishment responsible for it.
The caretaker chief minister said he would make all out efforts to address the concerns and reservations of Mengal and other political parties.
Barozai assured Mengal of all types of security during the elections. He said he would also be meeting leaders of other political parties.
